On 21st November 2019 the Surrogacy regulation bill 2019 was referred to the Select committee of parliament to further deliberate and make changes in the bill. This committee will then after much deliberation suggest suitable changes in the bill and send it back to the Health ministry.
So Surrogacy Treatment in India is now open for all Commissioning parents holding Indian passports.
